Coronavirus
(SARS-MERS-Covid-19)
RNA-virus.Coronaviruses are named for thecrown-like spikes on their surface, associated with the sun's corona. Primarily a cold virus, can cause diarrhea in children, atypical pneumonia (SARSservers acute respiratory syndrome).
Droplet, contact and Airborne infection.Incubation 2-7days,up 10days. Symptoms: fever, malaise, chills, headache, myalgia, dizziness, (flu symptoms) Next phase; respiratory distress syndrome. Overall mortality (SARS) 3-4%.
No vaccine (24.05.2020)
There are no specific treatments for illnesses caused by human coronaviruses. Treatment is supportive and based on the pasients clinical condition..

Mycobacterium tuberculosis©
Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a Gram positiv rod belonging to the Mycobacterium family. It was first
detected in 1882. The highest incidence in Norway was in 1900. Globally Mycobacterium tuberculosis is pandemic.
Approximately 30% of the world population is infected and a mortality of more than 2 million
annually. The transmission mode is droplet and airborne. Symptoms are vague, flulike symptoms, with fever, increased
production of airway secretions, weight loss, night sweat, fatigue. The disease can be treated with
combination therapy of several antibiotics. Vaccine is available but mostly given to high risk groups.

Vibrio fischeri is a gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium found globally in marine environments. A. fischeri has bioluminescent properties, and is found predominantly in symbiosis with various marine animals, such as the bobtail squid. It is heterotrophic and moves by means of flagella. Free-living A. fischeri cells survive on decaying organic matter. The bacterium is a key research organism for examination of microbial bioluminescence, quorum sensing, and bacterial-animal symbiosis. It is named after Bernhard Fischer, a German microbiologist.

Zika virus
(ZIKV) is a member of the virus family Flaviviridae and the genus Flavivirus, transmitted by daytime-activeAedes mosquitoes, such as A. aegypti and A. albopictus. Its name comes from the Zika Forest of Uganda, where the virus was first isolated in 1947.
The infection, known as Zika fever, often causes no or only mild symptoms. Since the 1950s, it has been known to occur within a narrow equatorial belt from Africa to Asia. In 2014, the virus spread eastward across the Pacific Ocean to French Polynesia, then to Easter Islandand in 2015 to Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America, where the Zika outbreak has reached pandemiclevels.[citation needed]
Zika virus is related to dengue, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, and West Nile viruses. The illness it causes is similar to a mild form of dengue fever, is treated by rest, and cannot yet be prevented by drugs or vaccines. There is a possible link between Zika fever and microcephaly in newborn babies by mother-to-child transmission,as well as a stronger one with neurologic conditions in infected adults, including cases of Guillain–Barré syndrome.
In January 2016, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued travel guidance on affected countries, including the use of enhanced precautions, and guidelines for pregnant women including considering postponing travel. Other governments or health agencies soon issued similar travel warnings, while Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Jamaica advised women to postpone getting pregnant until more is known about the risks.

The clinical spectrum of MERS-CoV infection ranges from no symptoms (asymptomatic) or mild respiratory symptoms to severe acute respiratory disease and death. A typical presentation of MERS-CoV disease is fever, cough and shortness of breath. Pneumonia is a common finding, but not always present. Gastrointestinal symptoms, including diarrhoea, have also been reported. Severe illness can cause respiratory failure that requires mechanical ventilation and support in an intensive care unit. Approximately 36% of reported patients with MERS-CoV have died. The virus appears to cause more severe disease in older people, people with weakened immune systems, and those with chronic diseases such as cancer, chronic lung disease and diabetes.
Source of the virus
MERS-CoV
is a zoonotic virus that is transmitted from animals to humans.
Transmission
Non-human
to human transmission: The route of transmission from animals to humans is not
fully understood,
but camels are likely to be a major
reservoir host for MERS-CoV and an animal source of infection in humans.

Meslinger / Morbilli
RNA-virus. Syv humanpatogene virus: Parainfluensavirus, RSV, meslingevirus, parotittvirus. Meslinger første gang påvist i 1954. Dråpesmitte. Har høy infektivitet og er endemisk over hele verden. Inkubasjonstid 8-14 dager. Symptomer: feber, katarrhalia, konjunktivitt. Kopliks flekker, papillomatøst utslett. Komplikasjoner: meslingeencefalitt, SSPE, sekundær bakteriell pneumoni. Ved hemoragiske meslinger utvikles hud og slimhinneblødninger. Den tropiske varianten har høy dødelighet. Opptrer hos proteinunderernærte barn. Vaksine finnes. Ingen behandling.

Grid
A grid cell is a type of neuron in the brains of many species that allows them to understand their position in space.
Triangular grids of synchronized neurons were predicted by William H. Calvin in his 1996 monograph The Cerebral Code on the basis of recurrent collateral branches in neocortical pyramidal neurons that had synaptic clusters at a standard spacing.Grid cells were discovered in 2005 by Edvard Moser, May-Britt Moser and their students Torkel Hafting, Marianne Fyhn and Sturla Molden at the Centre for the Biology of Memory (CBM) in Norway. They were awarded the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine together with John O'Keefe for their discoveries of cells that constitute a positioning system in the brain. The arrangement of spatial firing fields all at equal distances from their neighbors led to a hypothesis that these cells encode a cognitive representation of Euclidean space.[1] The discovery also suggested a mechanism for dynamic computation of self-position based on continuously updated information about position and direction.
